1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you") and Wellovie ("we," "us") governing your access to and use of the Wellovie course and related content (the "Service").

By purchasing or using the Service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, you may not access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Wellovie is a self-guided psychoeducation course delivered as a web application. It provides structured educational content, reflective exercises, and personal development tools across four subject areas: emotional foundations, self-knowledge, interpersonal connection, and intentional living.

It is not a mental health treatment, clinical intervention, diagnostic tool, or medical device. It does not provide therapy, counselling, psychiatric care, crisis intervention, or any form of clinical mental health services. Wellovie does not establish any professional clinical relationship between Wellovie and any user.

3. Eligibility

To use the Service, you must:

  • Be at least 13 years of age. Users between 13 and 17 must have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
  • Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract
  • Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable law

4. Purchase and License Key

Access to the full Wellovie course is granted through a one-time purchase via Lemon Squeezy. Upon purchase, you receive a license key by email. You enter this key into the course to unlock all content on your device.

  • One-time payment: There are no recurring charges. You pay once and have lifetime access.
  • Multiple devices: Your license key works on any device you own. Progress does not sync between devices — each device stores data locally.
  • Key security: Keep your license key safe. Do not share it publicly. If you lose it, check your original purchase confirmation email from Lemon Squeezy.
  • No accounts: Wellovie does not require you to create an account. Your identity is your license key.

5. Refunds

If you're not satisfied with the course, email melipil5780@gmail.com within 7 days of your purchase date for a full refund — no questions asked. After 7 days, all fees are non-refundable. Purchase dates are verified against Lemon Squeezy's records.

6. License to Use the Service

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Wellovie grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, personal license to access and use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.

This license does not include the right to:

  • Copy, distribute, sell, or sublicense any part of the Service or its content
  • Share your license key to grant others access
  • Reverse engineer or extract any software component of the Service
  • Use the Service's curriculum or frameworks in other products or services
  • Scrape or systematically extract content from the Service

All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Wellovie.

7. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you enter into the Service — your reflections, worksheet responses, and journal entries. This content is stored only on your device and is never transmitted to us. We cannot access it, and we have no license to it beyond what is necessary to display it to you locally.

We do not use your content to train AI models, sell it, or share it with third parties.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Share your license key publicly or resell access to the Service
  • Attempt to bypass, circumvent, or reverse engineer the license validation system
  • Use the Service in violation of any applicable law
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
  • Use the course content in any commercial product or service without written permission

9. Health and Mental Health Disclaimer

9.1 Not a medical device or clinical service

Wellovie has not been evaluated by the FDA or any regulatory authority as a medical device or treatment. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition.

9.2 No clinical relationship

Your use of the Service does not create any clinical, therapeutic, or physician-patient relationship between you and Wellovie.

9.3 Not a substitute for professional care

If you are experiencing mental health symptoms, emotional distress, suicidal ideation, or any condition requiring professional care, please seek help from a qualified mental health professional. Do not delay seeking professional help because of anything in this Service.

9.4 Crisis situations

Wellovie is not designed for use during mental health emergencies. If you are in crisis:

  • Call or text 988 (Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, 24/7)
  • Call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room
  • Text HOME to 741741 (Crisis Text Line)

9.5 Individual results vary

Wellovie reflects evidence-informed frameworks. However, individual responses to psychoeducational content vary significantly. We make no representations that use of the Service will produce any particular outcome or therapeutic benefit.

10. Disclaimers of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WELLOVIE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WELLOVIE DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WELLOVIE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE. WELLOVIE'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE COURSE.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Wellovie and its affiliates from any claims, damages, and expenses arising from your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

13. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute not resolved informally shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts of New York County, New York, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

14. Termination

We may revoke your license key and terminate access to the Service if you materially breach these Terms — particularly if you share your key publicly or attempt to circumvent the license system. Sections 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13 survive termination.

You may stop using the Service at any time. There is no account to delete — your local data can be cleared through the Settings page.

15. General Provisions

Entire agreement: These Terms and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and Wellovie regarding the Service.

Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.

Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right does not waive that right.

Assignment: You may not assign your rights under these Terms. We may assign ours without restriction.

Updates: We may update these Terms. Material changes will be noted within the course. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
